The Isle of Raasay’s only hotel provides a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and an informal and relaxing base from which to explore the island. Set in our own grounds above Churchton Bay, 2 miles north of the ferry terminal, the majority of our bedrooms, the residents lounge, dining room, bar and garden all overlook the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillins on the Isle of Skye.
Our Italian Chef produces home cooked food using local produce wherever possible in both the Cuillin View restaurant and the Borodale Bar. The bar menu includes authentic pizza and pasta dishes to eat in or take away.
The hotel is completely non- smoking and welcomes well behaved dogs.
With breathtaking scenery and a character of it’s own Raasay provides a haven for walkers, cyclists, nature lovers, fishing, those who just want to escape and experience the peace and tranquillity of island life or the more adventurous with activities such as climbing, sailing, pier jumping, crating, archery, canoeing and kayaking all available on the island
