The Ferry Inn at Uig is a small friendly Inn located centrally on the south west facing amphitheatre of Uig Bay with magnificent views over the bay towards the Waternish peninsula. The Inn has six ensuite bedrooms with amenities, two bars, and serves delicious freshly prepared food from a bar meal menu with an a la carte menu in the restaurant. We are open all year round. Our Bedrooms, Restaurant and Residents' Lounge are non-smoking areas.
The Ferry Inn is one mile from the ferry terminal with daily sailings to Lochmaddy on North Uist and Tarbet on Harris and is ideally located for exploring the top end of the Trotternish peninsula on the Isle of Skye.
Our bars are intimate and during the summer months we have live traditional Scottish music on many evenings. We are participants in the Talisker Music Sessions promoting the talents of local musicians playing traditional Scottish music. During these sessions other musicians are encouraged to participate and great spontaneity has provided some extraordinary evenings of entertainment. We have seen five pipers with drums 'jamming' to the delight of a very crowded bar.
