A warm highland welcome awaits you in our family run, newly renovated croft house.
Clachan is situated in the quiet Gaelic speaking crofting township of Staffin 16 miles north of the capital Portree (50 Miles from bridge.)
The ferry to the Western Isles is a 20 minute drive.
Our home has stunning panoramic views of the Trotternish ridge from the The Old Man of Storr to the Quirang. Staffin is the ideal place for exploring the north end of Skye. There are various walks for all levels, spectacular scenery, loch fishing, boat trips and in nearby Kilmuir there is the Skye Museum of Island Life. There are a eating places in the village, two shops and an Internet Cafe.
Guest accommodation comprises a king-size double room en suite, a double room en suite and a twin room with private facilities.
All rooms are on the first floor and have TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and central heating.
A selection of books and maps is provided.
A choice of continental or freshly cooked breakfast is served each morning and packed lunches are available at a small extra cost.
We have an outdoor seating area, where guests can enjoy the views and the fresh air!
There is also a drying room for wet clothes and boots and private parking on site.
