Clover Hill is idyllically situated in the picturesque crofting township of Torrin (population 65), just over 6 miles from Broadford, the nearest centre, and 32 miles from Portree, the capital of Skye
The view from the cottage is simply breathtaking. In the foreground is a burn which runs down from the Red Hills some 2,000 ft (600 metres) above Torrin, before flowing into the sea at Loch Slapin, a quarter of a mile from Clover Hill.
The burn, surrounding trees and croftland all provide a tranquil setting for the dramatic, ever-changing backdrop of Blaven, rising majestically to 3044 feet (928 metres) above Loch Slapin. Blaven is part of the famous Black Cuillin and is widely considered to be one of Scotland's finest mountain views.
